She’s the real last unicorn!!
(The rhino may be the source of the belief in unicorns, legendary animals whose horn was said to be a panacea for all types of ailments.)

I decided that I make a poster because I want to call peoples attention for a terrible thing….

WESTERN BLACK RHINO (Diceros bicornis) and JAVAN RHINO (Rhinoceros Sondaicus) are EXTINCT and NORTHERN WHITE RHINO WILL FOLLOW!!!!!


RHINO HORN IS NOT MEDICINE!!!!!!It’s made of simply keratin!!!


There are some facts from them:

  • The black rhino grows to 4 meters long, stands over 1,5 meter at the shoulder, and weighs up to 1770 kg. It is recognizable by its long, pointed, prehensile upper lip and two prominent horns, the longest of which averages 50 cm.
  • The longest known horn measured nearly 1.5 m in length.
  • Rhinos are intelligent, and are trained by their keepers in zoos, using clickers and treats (like dogs and other animals), to become accustomed to routines and handling - and even learn to paint! 
  • Rhinos make a variety of sounds and vocalizations, ranging from snorts to squeaks
  • All rhinos have three toes on each foot - they are “three-toed ungulates”
  • Only three Sumatran Rhinos have been born in captivity
  • Rhinos wallow in mud to protect their sensitive skin from sunburn and insect bites
  • Rhinos have lived on earth for over 50 million years. Today, a rhino can have a lifespan of 35 to 40 years
  • Rhinos are odd-toed ungulates,they are more closely related to horses than hippos.
  • The closest rhino relationship is between a female and her calf. They stay together from 2 to 4 years. As the calf matures, it may leave its mother and join other females and their young, where it is tolerated for some time before living completely on its own.
